I packed my backpacks for my bus ride to Puerto Iguazu later on today. I arrived at 16 o'clock for my reservation at The Vines of Mendoza. I said hello to Yael and walked into the air conditioned bar room. My wine server for today was Pedro, a nice guy. Because I already made my mark in the last couple of weeks, Pedro said I could choose any wine from the 3 flights that I could have. I picked 3 wines and Pedro recommended another two. The first wine was a Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 Reserva from Hacienda del Plata. The wine had amazing aromas of cherry, strawberry, cheese and light oak. Flavors included wild berry, oak, and tobacco with a round and dry oaky finish. I really loved this wine.
